About

A directory of the apps that plug into Strava. Independent, free to browse, and run as a side project, not a business.

Why this exists

Strava's API quietly powers a huge ecosystem. There are apps that track the wear on your chain, turn your rides into wall art, coach you toward a marathon, or print your route on a postcard and mail it to a friend. Most people never find them. They get buried, or they only spread by word of mouth in a single sport.

I started this because I kept stumbling onto great tools by accident and wishing there was one place that just listed them. So I made it. Every app here gets its own entry, written up and checked against the app's actual website before it goes live. If something is wrong or out of date, that's on me, and the form below is the fastest way to flag it.

Not affiliated with Strava

This is an independent project. It is not made by, owned by, or endorsed by Strava, Inc. "Strava" is their trademark, and the name is used here only to describe what these apps do, connect to Strava. The goal is to help the community find useful tools, not to imply any official connection.

Every app listed uses Strava's public API under Strava's own terms. If you represent Strava and want something changed, get in touch through the form below.

What you'll find

  • Analytics and training: apps that dig into your data, track fitness over time, and build training plans.
  • Routes and navigation: tools for planning rides and runs and finding new places to explore.
  • Visualization and art: heatmaps, 3D flyovers, prints, and maps made from your activities.
  • Gear and maintenance: mileage and wear tracking for bikes, shoes, and components.
  • Social, challenges, and data tools: virtual races, group challenges, and ways to sync or export your data.

A few common questions

How do apps get listed?

Some come from research, some people submit. Either way, the entry gets written from what's on the app's own site and checked to confirm it actually works with Strava. I'd rather skip an app than list something that can't be verified.

Is this an official Strava project?

No. See the section above. It's independent and not endorsed by Strava.

Do you charge for listings?

No. Listing is free and so is browsing.

Built one of these? Spotted a mistake?

I'd genuinely like to hear from you, whether you want your app added, want to fix something, or just want to say hi. Use the form here.
