Is Strava down?

Strava is up, but your activity isn't there

Most missing rides never reached Strava in the first place. Work back along the path the activity takes:

1. Is it in your device's own app? If Garmin Connect, the Wahoo app or COROS doesn't have it yet, the watch or bike computer hasn't synced. Each device's page explains how it connects: Garmin, Wahoo, COROS, Apple Watch, Polar, Suunto.
2. Is the link to Strava having a bad day? Garmin, Polar and Peloton each report their Strava link on their own status pages, shown above. Strava sometimes posts a notice of its own when uploads from Garmin are delayed.
3. Upload the file yourself. On strava.com you can upload the activity file directly (Strava's help explains how), and how to export it from Garmin Connect.
4. Strava says the file is corrupted? Strava's help covers corrupted files and corrupted time data. Tools that repair, crop or merge activity files are in the file and import tools.

Is a third-party app not syncing?

If an app that connects to Strava has stopped working while Strava itself is fine, the problem may be the app's own connection. Which Strava apps still work tracks that for every app in the directory, rechecked each month.

Our check confirms Strava answers from the internet; it can't see a problem that only affects some accounts, regions or app versions, so Strava's own page is the one to trust when they disagree.
