What is VeloPulse?
VeloPulse is a free analytics layer for cyclists on Strava, built around the numbers power-meter riders usually pay for: all-time power curve, automatic FTP estimation, and CTL/ATL/TSB form tracking, topped with an AI coach that reviews each ride as it uploads. It's read-only — VeloPulse never writes to your Strava account — and there's no sign-up or card; you connect Strava and you're in. A demo mode with sample data lets you try everything before connecting at all.
Its architecture is the unusual part: there's no server-side storage of your data. Everything is processed and kept in your browser. Created by David del Prado, it's Spanish-first with a full English translation, and it's brand new — shipping updates daily since launch in July 2026.
Key Features
All-time power curve
Mean maximal power from 1 second to 60 minutes across your full Strava history, with season-by-season comparison against your real records.
FTP and eFTP evolution
Automatic FTP estimation from your best efforts, tracked month by month, with an optional AI-assisted estimate that shows its reasoning.
A coach that watches every ride
The Gemini-powered coach analyzes each ride as soon as it uploads, sends a morning briefing, and answers questions with your full training history as context — it even checks the weather before advising.
Event-targeted training plans
Set a target gran fondo, time trial, or race and it periodizes training toward that date (base, build, peak, taper), re-planning every Sunday from what you actually did and your real form. Every session exports as ZWO and FIT files with target watts.
Form and fatigue tracking
CTL/ATL/TSB performance management plus Intensity Factor and power-zone distribution, computed second-by-second from real power data.
Records and sharing
All-time power records with notifications, a season recap, and public per-ride pages with route, stats, and the coach's analysis.
Who It's For
- Power-meter cyclists who want TrainingPeaks-grade numbers without the subscription
- Riders targeting an event who want a plan that adapts to real training, not the ideal week
- Privacy-conscious athletes — data processing happens in your browser, not on a server
