Does Decathlon connect to Strava?

Yes, officiallyBoth directions

Yes, and in both directions. Decathlon links Strava at the account level rather than per app, so connecting once covers Decathlon Coach and the Decathlon Hub app alike, and activities travel each way.

What it costs

Free.

How to set it up

  1. In the app: open the settings tab in Decathlon Coach, tap Third-party apps, and connect Strava. This needs at least version 2.53 on iOS or 2.57 on Android.
  2. On the web: go to account.decathlon.com/connected-applications, which Decathlon calls HUB by DECATHLON.
  3. Log in to your Decathlon account, click Connect on Strava, then log in to Strava and authorise.
  4. After that, syncing happens automatically in the background.

What reaches Strava

  • Activities recorded in Decathlon Coach or on a supported Decathlon watch

What comes back from Strava

  • Activities recorded in Strava, pulled back into your Decathlon account

Limitations and gotchas

  • Decathlon groups its partners into two classes. Garmin, Polar and Coros are read-only, meaning Decathlon can retrieve from them. Strava, Suunto and Fitbit are the ones Decathlon can both retrieve from and send to.
  • Sports that Decathlon does not support will not appear in its app, though Decathlon says they still show on its website.
  • Strava falls back to UTC for activities with no GPS data, which can put a session on the wrong day.
  • Elevation gain takes longer to process and shows up late.
  • The Decathlon Hub app is a separate product from Decathlon Coach and only works with the FIT100 family of watches and the Domyos Challenge Run treadmill.
  • Whether the first connection backfills your history, and how far back, is not documented by either company.
  • Decathlon retired its Strava-specific help article and folded the guidance into a general multi-service page, so older links to it are dead.
