What is Headwind?
Headwind is a web app for cyclists that looks at rides you've already done and asks how they'd go in the weather. Its own description is to "visualise how hard your latest rides were" and predict how hard they'll be in future, from local weather data. You sign in with Strava, and your recent rides, starred rides and saved Strava routes each get a question: how hard is this right now, or on a day and time you choose? There's a 7-day forecast per ride or route, a wind, rain and temperature panel for where you are, and a rain radar.
It runs in the browser and offers to install itself to your phone's home screen. A demo account lets you look around without connecting Strava.

Pick a past ride or a saved route and Headwind scores it against the wind now or at a date and time you set, so a loop you ride every week can be checked before you head out.

Each ride and route has its own seven-day view, and rides you repeat can be starred inside Headwind for quick access.

A segment explorer sits behind a donation. The app says donations keep Headwind free for everyone.
