What is Health Sync?
Health Sync is a data bridge that copies your activities and health metrics from one fitness app to another. Say your watch logs to Garmin Connect but you also want everything in Strava, or you record on Strava and want it pushed into Apple Health. Health Sync runs that transfer in the background so you stop doing it by hand.
It is built by appyhapps.nl B.V., a small company in the Netherlands. The app started on Android and added an iOS version in 2024. Strava works as both a source you pull from and a destination you push to.

Wide app support
On Android, Health Sync reads from Coros, Diabetes:M, fatsecret, Google Health (Fitbit), Garmin Connect, Google Fit, Health Connect, HUAWEI Health, MedM Health, Oura, Polar Flow, Samsung Health, Strava, Suunto and Withings. It can write to a long list too, including Strava, Intervals.icu, Runalyze, Smashrun and Samsung Health. The iOS side is narrower but covers Apple Health, Garmin Connect, Polar Flow, Strava and more.
Activity filtering
You can set filters so not every activity gets copied across. Filter by activity type, by duration, or by distance, which keeps a 4-minute dog walk out of your serious training log if that is what you want. The developer has said the filter options grow based on user requests.
Historical sync
Beyond syncing new activities going forward, Health Sync can backfill older data and manually resync days in the past. This is the one feature held back during the free trial, so it unlocks once you buy a license.
Background, hands-off transfers
Once you pick a source and a destination and set your filters, the app keeps the two services in step on its own. You set it up once instead of exporting and importing files every time you train.
Who it's for
Health Sync makes sense if you live across more than one fitness ecosystem. A Garmin owner who wants a clean Apple Health record, a Fitbit user feeding Strava, anyone whose coach reads one platform while their watch writes to another. If all your gear and apps already talk to each other, you probably do not need it. If they do not, this is the glue.
