What is Probe?
Probe turns your Strava history into stories — shareable cards, trip summaries, and yearly recaps that surface what Strava itself doesn't. Its signature trick is the Trip Summarizer: pick a date range and it combines every activity into a single card with the full route, elevation, stats, and photos. The whole product traces back to the maker's 2019 bikepacking trip across Spain, when Strava could track each day's ride but couldn't tell the story of the trip.
You sign in with Strava in one click and Probe reads your history — all of it, back to the day you created your account, which is what powers the year-over-year trends. Prices are in pounds (about £13 a year, or £35 once for lifetime access), and payments run through Stripe.
Key Features
Trip Summarizer
Multiple activities over a custom date range become one shareable story card — built for multi-day tours and bikepacking, with interactive maps, elevation profiles, and photo galleries.
Yearly trends and lifetime totals
Probe processes your complete Strava history (yearly reports generate overnight) to show trends and totals across up to ten years.
Social-ready cards
Polished, high-resolution cards sized for Instagram and TikTok, including polaroid-style memory cards and story formats.
Quirky comparisons
Raw stats translated into something relatable — calories as pizzas, distances against landmarks.
Export
GPX and data export alongside the visual reports, so the stories don't lock your data in.
Who It's For
- Bikepackers and tourers whose best stories span days, not single rides
- Year-in-review lovers who want a proper recap of a season
