What is ActivityFix?
ActivityFix edits your Strava activities for you. You write rules, and when a new activity lands on Strava it checks each one and applies the changes that match. Start at your office and it can mark the ride as a commute. Record on the trainer and it can set the bike and flag it as an indoor ride.
It's a free web app. You sign in with Strava, so there's no separate signup or password.
Key Features
Changes a rule can make
Title, description, gear, activity type, commute and trainer flags, muting the activity, private notes, map type and workout type, among others; the changelog adds activity tags (marked experimental, May 2026) and an option to hide weight lifted (August 2026). Text fields can include data from the activity and custom counters, such as a running count of commute days or centuries.
Conditions a rule can check
Start and end location, whether it passed near a place you pick, activity type, distance, average speed, day of the week, start time, whether it's a trainer ride, whether there's power data, total elevation, elevation per distance, the recording device, the title, moving time and elapsed time, among others. There's no OR: for either-or cases the FAQ says to write two rules.
Garmin and Wahoo sensors
Connect a Garmin or Wahoo account and rules can also match on the ANT+ sensors that recorded the activity. With Garmin, rules can also match on the device profile you recorded with.
Can ActivityFix fix activities I've already uploaded?
Not at the moment. Rules run on new uploads, and the FAQ says the maker will work on implementing it if enough people ask, with limits on how many past activities it could process because of Strava's rate limits.
What happens to my data if I stop using it?
If you revoke ActivityFix's access in your Strava settings, the FAQ says your account, rules and processing history are deleted after 30 days. Reconnecting within that window brings the account back.
