What is INTVL?
INTVL turns runs, walks and rides into a territory game on a real map. Run or ride a loop and the area inside it gets claimed in your colour; other players can take it from you, and you can take it back. Runs and rides are scored on separate maps, so runners only fight runners. Taking someone's ground starts a head-to-head battle, and the territory you hold earns entries into competitions with real prizes; the more you hold when one ends, the better your odds.
It's made by INTVL Pty Ltd in Australia. The site claims 2.4 million competitors in 182 countries. On the US App Store it holds a 4.7 from about 5,300 ratings, the iPhone app was last updated on September 27, 2026 (version 4.0.9), and Google Play shows more than a million downloads with an update on September 23, 2026.

Record in the app, or sync from Apple Watch, Garmin, COROS, Polar, Suunto or Fitbit watches and Hammerhead or Wahoo bike computers. There's a social feed, and splits, distance, elevation and trends to track your progress.
